Option 3: Before learning how to use the manual setting on my camera, I had only used the macro setting when my camera was on the auto setting. I would never need to actually change the setting on auto because my camera would just change it when I got close enough to the object I was taking a picture of. But, with manual setting, I had to actually push a button to change the setting. Macro photography is used to focus on in depth on a specific object. I also turned my aperture down very love making it a wide opening of the lenses and then I turned my shutter speed up because not as much light is needed for a longer time since the lenses is already wide open from the low aperture. For this photo, I liked how I did not have to turn my ISO too high, just to 100. I thought that the lightening was really nice in this photo as well.  The blue background also makes the plant pop and it really adds some much needed color to the picture. I wanted to take a picture of this plant because I love the texture of it and lines in the plant. I also like how the center of the plant is in the middle of the picture and then the plant seeds extend out into the picture. The plant reminded me of the wheat plants back at my farm in North Dakota.
